Our Race Committee has worked tirelessly on the many challenges we face to ensure that, we can host an event that is safe for everyone involved.
Please do take the time to read our Full Race instructions. We have made significant changes to this year’s event to ensure that runners, club volunteers, and the general public remain safe. There are more rules, restrictions, and administration than we have ever had before, but it is all to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable day. Your full cooperation and understanding are appreciated.
If you deferred your place from 2020, you will have received an email on the 15th January 2021 advising you of the latest information. Please note that deferrals from last year were an exception owing to the cancellation of our event. We will not offer deferrals or refunds if you are no longer able to take part in this year’s event.
We look forward to welcoming you all to the event. Please look out for updates over the next few months.
We will be donating all profits to the Maypole Project which is the local charity ORRs are again supporting in 2021.

Orpington Road Runners are proud to bring you our event around the nature trails of High Elms

The course is challenging and hilly, but very scenic to make up for it. Faster runners should expect to add at least 5 minutes to their PB times, whilst slower runners will be delighted with the value for money of running a 90 minute 10k.

For 2021 we have modified the route of the course, and changed our registration process to make the race safe for all runners and volunteer marshals. Full details of the registration process can be found detailed in our Race Instructions (the link to view them is below)

The race is a challenging single lap multi-terrain course through the Nature Trails of High Elms and some of Kent’s beautiful countryside.

To see details of the new course, please see our High Elms Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/299025513481698/photos/a.331162923601290/4136858883031656/
